Hello Friends! I have exciting news! Our castle is for sale!!!
I know that to many this comes as a complete shock, and I’m so sorry I haven’t been keeping you updated recently. But don’t worry, everything is fine. In fact, life is very, very good!
It wasn’t one big reason or moment that made us decide that the timing was right to put our house on the market. It has been more of a series of really wonderful events that have nudged us in this direction. And I find the timing of everything very encouraging, because it reassures me that this is the right decision for us and our family. And I’m so excited for whoever lives in the castle next! We’ve poured so much love into it, and I hope they love and appreciate it just as much as we do.
Aren’t these pictures that our realtor had taken amazing! I need to learn how to take pics like this! I’m so proud of the castle and all the hard work we’ve put into it. We worked on every single room. Can you believe it? When we bought the castle at an auction it needed so much work. I’m ridiculously proud of how it turned out!
What’s next for us? Well, we have exciting plans! You know us, we’re always busy. The shop is growing, which is awesome! And we are talking with our contractors about a really cool idea that we have for our next place. I’m waiting on the quotes from them before we officially decide what kind of projects we’ll be taking on, and I’ll be sure to keep you updated! I have a feeling I’m going to have a lot to blog about!

I can’t believe the price. In Minnesota suburbs of Minneapolis, this would go for $500,000.00 or more!

My Grandfather Stevens built this house in the 1930’s. I lived in it during the fifties. Such memories! The house is restored to perfection.
Are the resident ghosts still active? Ha! Most of my family believe one is Ruth Stevens my grandmother.
Well….thank you for the virtual trip down a lovely memory road. Julie Freeman
